My Story

Hello, I’m the face behind One if By Land. My name is Jennifer O’Neill and I am a Certified Functional Nutritional Therapist, Reiki Master Practitioner, Clinical Herbalist and lover of nature, seasons, cycles, science and spirituality.

I show up to this work understanding the struggle, the overwhelm, the fear, the hopeless feelings that can arise on a journey through our current medical system. I understand we are multi-dimensional beings and our healthcare needs to hold space for all those sides and struggles and successes. I understand the feeling of not being heard, feeling tired of having to convince the very people that are supposed to be taking care of you to take your gut feelings seriously. I understand sometimes you need to take medication in addition to more natural remedies. I understand nutrition and wellness practices can be triggering and that is what guides my gentle, trauma informed approach. I understand some days you wake up feeling diligent about eating locally sourced organic veggies and on the same day you might end up polishing off a bag of Doritos. There is room for it all, it is all part of being a humxn and finding your way back home to yourself. To learn what helps you feel your best and also understanding that we will never feel our best all the time. And honoring that too. Honoring what is uniquely you. That is what I am here to do and want to help you show up to the gifts I know you have inside of you too. This work is more important than ever and I truly believe that acceptance starts in your own body and ripples out into the world. Through the clarifying power of Nutritional Therapy and the centering of Energy Healing it is my aim to help you come back to that acceptance and let it shine outward. To see there are natural rhythms all around you, within you. A language of ease, providing grounded wisdom if we pause and listen. A way to walk hand in hand with your body, letting each cell and season remind you, balance is your birthright.

I want to thank all of the teachers and education that informed and continues to inform who I am and how I teach today.
